The realities of war and experiencing military sexual trauma (MST) during Army service took a toll on Jenny’s mental health. As a result, she misused drugs and alcohol in an attempt to cope. After seeking mental health treatment and becoming sober, Jenny began helping other Veterans on their healing journeys through theater and writing workshops.
