Richard was among the first Marines in Korea, where he saw a lot of combat. When he returned to the States, there were few jobs, and readjustment was hard. He turned to alcohol, didn't get along with other people, and got into fights. Thirty years later, Richard went to VA, and counseling has helped him live a more fulfilling life.
