While serving in Somalia, Jim was wounded by friendly fire. After he left the Marines, he found adjusting to civilian life difficult. He had trouble sleeping, and his marriage ended. Jim reached out for support and began PTSD treatment. Through counseling, he learned strategies to manage his symptoms and improve his life.
