When Bill came home from Vietnam, he and his fellow Veterans were treated poorly. He disliked crowds, felt guilty about surviving the war, and had nightmares. He didn't want to talk about what he was going through until a friend convinced him to go to VA. Bill found professionals and peer support that helped him take steps to improve his life.
No matter what you may be experiencing, there is support for getting your life on a better track. Many, many Veterans have found the strength to reach out and make the connection.
