Marcus’s challenges began when his unit lost soldiers to an IED. He sought treatment when he got home, but it wasn’t a good fit for him so he didn’t follow through. After experiencing anxiety during another deployment, he found a therapist who supported him through his recovery. He learned techniques for coping and improved his life.
