Scott served in the Army multiple times, and during his time in Iraq, he was depressed. Job stress led to thoughts of suicide, and he was referred to an Army psychologist. When these thoughts returned, he reached out to a hotline and sought additional mental health treatment after a life transition. Therapy has supported him through his recovery.
