Tyrone, an Army Veteran, was wounded in an explosion in Vietnam and had serious hearing loss. Later, he started drinking, felt on edge, and tried to bury his military experience. Eventually, he sought group counseling at a Vet Center. Talking about his challenges was a big help. Openness and optimism have helped Tyrone live well as he gets older.
