In the Air Force, Richard had trouble at work and felt depressed. Later, he started to hear voices in his head. His minister took him to a mental health professional, who diagnosed schizophrenia and provided cognitive behavioral therapy and medication to help Richard cope with the intrusive thoughts. Now he has hope for the future.
