Noel was injured in an IED blast that killed his platoon sergeant, and he felt he should have died instead. Once he left the Marines, he felt alone. Noel felt suicidal, but a friend saw the warning signs and intervened. That’s when Noel started seeing a therapist. Now he knows encouraging fellow Marines to do the same could save a life.
