Don returned from Vietnam with horrific memories, and his service was looked down on by some. He busied himself at home, avoiding anything that might evoke feelings he wanted to bury. After 9/11 it all came flooding back but he didn't see it in himself. His wife, family doctor, and VA helped him face his issues and lift the burden of combat stress.
